CR Newsletter for March is out

The March issue of Compulsive Reader News is now out.  It should be in your in-box right now, but if for some reason your spam filters have blocked it :-( (something about the word compulsive seems to trigger it), you can get a copy right here: Compulsive Reader News March.  This month’s issue features the usual welter of literary news, 10 fresh reviews, including my take on Joanne Burns’ very challenging book brush, an interview with The Poser’s Jacob Rubin, Michael Faber’s The Book of Strange New Things, and plenty of others to tempt you to expand your TBR list.  We’ve also got a couple of very nice giveaways - including The Poser and Girl Underwater by Claire Kells, who is also interviewed this month.  Don’t miss it (and if you’re not getting it and should be, let me know...)

Black Cow Book Blog Tour Day 16: Dark Phantom Review

Mayra Calvani at the Dark Phantom Review has put up a wonderful review of Black Cow today. "Black Cow is the absorbing, moving story of a family trying to stay together in a world full of consumerism, a place devoid of spirituality and deep emotional connections. This is a tale that will make you pause and ponder about the quality of your own life. Ball writes with skilful perception and attention to human emotions and motivations." For the full, detailed review, please drop by Mayra's blog.

Black Cow Blog Tour Day 3: New review by Terri Forehand

Today's blog spot is a new review by blogger Terri Forehand at Writing and other ways into the heart.  "This is a heartwarming story of the Archer family. The Archers have been living the high life, big corporate lives with money, fame, and everything a family needs. But there is something missing. Would you be able to leave corporate security with the paycheck and prestige attached if it meant you could gain the family connection back?"  Drop by Terri's blog for the rest of the review.
